If there is one thing Beyonce knows about, it’s existing on a higher plane of being than everyone else. So of course it should go without saying that Beyonce is into veganism.

Now she wants to send everyone else to Vegan Academy, because Queen Bey is launching a new business that promises to deliver healthy plant-based meals right to consumers’ doors.

The business is simply called 22 Days Nutrition, based on a diet challenge that Beyonce and Jay Z took on in the past and the philosophy that it takes 21 days to break a habit and 22 days to start building new and better ones. The business is a partnership between Beyonce and her trainer, exercise physiologist Marco Borges, and offers weekly home delivery of 100% organic and plant-based meals that range from $9.76 to $16.50 each and are not only non-GMO but also gluten free, soy free and dairy free.

“I am so grateful that I took the challenge and credit Marco with leading by example,” says Beyonce in a press release announcing the new product line.  “He is the most energetic person I know and it's all because of his decision to live a healthy lifestyle. He came up with a great program to get people motivated to make better nutritional choices. All you have to do is try. If I can do it, anyone can.  I am excited to partner with him.”

“I am humbled by this incredible partnership and excited to share the many benefits of a whole-foods plant-based diet,” adds Borges. “We all know the importance and value of eating plant-based foods but often times find ourselves trapped in a series of bad habits that sabotage optimum wellness. The Vegan Meal Delivery program makes it easier to reset your habits with healthy and delicious plant-based foods.”

As holistic nutrition and better-for-you diets continue to break into the mainstream, it’s an awfully smart business venture for Beyonce to get into (especially as a way to diversify her income if she plans on scaling back her entertainment career at any time). So maybe we can’t all be Beyonce. But eating like Beyonce? If it’s as simple as kidney bean fajitas and curry fried rice, that’s something we think we can handle.
